Hana by Hatsune Opens at China World Mall

Located in the newly opened China World Mall in the heart of Beijing's CBD, Hana is a new concept by the Hatsune Restaurant Group designed to appeal to foodies who truly appreciate fine cuisine.

Meaning “flower” in Japanese and “family” in Hawaiian, Hana focuses on family-style sharing in an ambiance that exudes beauty. The interior design of Hana is inspired by Kyoto’s bamboo forests, which are unparalleled in raw beauty, tranquility, and elegance. Hana's private room, adorned with wooden engravings, provides guests with a gorgeous intimate space for their private dining experience.

Hana's menu features signature dishes from Hatsune, like the popular Dream Team Roll and Onsen specialty dish, while introducing some new creations like the Aki Sushi Tartare, Seared Maguro with Yuzu and Shiso, and Wagyu Yakisuki to name a few.

Aki Sushi Tartare

An impressive line-up of 11 premium ingredients including chopped sashimi tartare, fish caviar, and uni, each of the carefully selected ingredients is delicately plated over sushi rice. While the colorful choice of premium sushi ingredients tantalize your senses, owner Alan Wong says the secret behind this dish lies beneath what the eye can see (hint: there's a crunch!). This gorgeous dish of plated sushi is intended to be consumed with a light dabble of your personal soy sauce and wasabi mix.

Bluefin Tuna with Yuzu and Shiso

Using deep sea tuna, this isn’t your average tuna and we wanted to feature this premium maguro’s high quality, beautiful texture, and natural flavors. Lightly flash grilled, we complement the seared maguro with a tart and tasty yuzu and shiso dressing.

Wagyu Yakisuki

Originally discovered in a tiny, hidden restaurant in Okinawa, yakisuki is reminiscent of sukiyaki but instead of self-broiling, guests sear it lightly themselves on a hot plate. Hatsune’s Wagyu steak is marinated in a sukiyaki sauce ready for self-searing and served with a dipping sauce with an onsen egg and scallions.
